We are delighted to have you with us and hope your stay will be a memorable one. Our committees are making every effort to see that you enjoy your stay while you are watching your son participate in this important event in his life. If our committees can be of any assistance to you, please let us know and if you have any suggestions for future tournaments we would be happy to hear from you.

Please remember the weather in Michigan can change from day to day. Be prepared for hot, cold, wet and dry!

For your information, water is available on all courts at both tournament locations, bring your own water cooler and ice if you want it. If you'll be using the local practice courts, bring your own cooler with water, as most don't have fountains.

Both Release Forms must be signed and submitted before your son can play the Tournament. You may fill them out and mail, fax or email to the Nationals before check-in begins, or bring with you to Registration. • 2026 Registration/Check-In

Players are allowed three complimentary guest badges for the tournament. Additional guests will be required to pay standard ticket prices, found under the "Tickets" tab.

• Retained Coaches Information

The USTA does not require nor authorize coaches at events or tournaments. Coaches who do attend have been selected, retained, and/or hired by an athlete and/or their parent or legal guardian (a Personal Coach or a “Retained Coach”). Unless the Retained Coach is that athlete’s parent or legal guardian, a Retained Coach must be Safe Play Approved in order to access practice areas or maintain any form of contact with players. If the Retained Coach is not Safe Play Approved, they will only be permitted to attend the tournament as a spectator.

Safe Play is the USTA’s comprehensive athlete safety program consisting of education, screening, reporting tools and policies for appropriate conduct in tennis. The USTA works with the U.S. Center for SafeSport and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee to develop Safe Play policies, procedures and educational resources to support the USTA Safe Play program. Adults who have regular contact with or authority over minor athletes in USTA programs, events, or tournaments must be in compliance with Safe Play requirements. This includes undergoing background checks and completing education on preventing misconduct in sports. Because Retained Coaches are in contact with minors, they are required to be Safe Play approved.

You MUST be Safe Play Approved through the end of the Tournament. This includes completing SafeSport training, acknowledging the USTA Safe Play Policy which includes reporting requirements, and a criminal background check. Please complete this process ASAP by visiting www.usta.com/safeplay and selecting “Get Approved.” PLEASE NOTE: SAFESPORT TRAINING IS 90 MINUTES LONG AND FULL APPROVAL CAN TAKE UP TO 5 DAYS.

At check-in, you will be asked to show confirmation of your Safe Play Approval on your phone. If you are approved, you will receive a badge you must wear everyday indicating your approval. Any coach who is not Safe Play Approved will have to pay to attend. You will be considered a standard spectator and prohibited from any form of contact with players.

If you are not approved by registration dates, please show proof of your in-progress background check and completed Safe Play training. You must return to pick up your official badge when approved.

• Dress Code
All players are required to wear appropriate tennis attire and dress in a manner consistent with being a participant in “The Nationals.”

• Pet Policy
We cannot allow pets inside Stowe Stadium due to public health laws. Additionally, no pets allowed inside the enclosures at Sorensen Courts (WMU). We welcome ADA-qualified service animals that are specifically trained to work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

• Parking

Traffic will head east-bound down Academy Street. Access to West Main will be available north-bound ONLY on Acker Lane. You will not be able to proceed down Academy past Acker as Catherine St. will be closed due to the construction. Player drop off will be available on Acker Lane, at the corner of Academy and Acker Lane. Signage will be posted. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church on W. Main will also be available.

Parking is available on the campus of WMU in lot across from the Sorensen Courts (lots 47 & 48), or in the lot next to the lower courts (Lot 52).
