In 18s quarterfinal play Thursday, the no. 2 seed Robby Ginepri, Marietta GA won his match to move into Saturday's semifinals. He defeated Tres Davis, the no. 9 seed from Austin TX. Genepri will face the no. 5 seed, Ytai Abougzir, Boca Raton FL, in a rematch of last year's Boys 16 final. Abougzir beat the no. 13 seed, Sam Warburg of Sacramento CA.

The 16s quarterfinal matches completed Thursday were won by no. 1 seed Rajeev Ram, Carmel IN and no. 11 seed Mathew Cloer of Linville NC. Ram was victorious over no. 25 Chris Surapol of Whittier CA and Cloer beat unseeded Luke Shields of Grand Junction CO.

Friday's play will feature the remaining two quarterfinal singles matches in each age division and the semifinals in both 16s and 18s doubles.
