Notable upsets occurred across the board.
In the 16s doubles quarterfinals, top seed Michael Antonius and Roshan Santhosh were upset by the seventh seed Shaan Majeed of Cumming, Georgia, and Lucas Smith of Daniel Island, South Carolina (6-2, 7-6[5]). They will play the 15th seed Marcel Latak of Darien, Illinois, and Vihaan Reddy of San Jose, California.
Unseeded Sebastian Bielen of Glen Cove, New York, and his partner Jerrid Gaines Jr of Palmetto, Florida, upset the sixth seed Anish Poojari and Soren Swenson. They will be facing the second seed, Andrew Johnson of Rancho Palos Verdes, California, and his partner, Mason Vaughan of Austin, Texas, in the semifinals.
Over in the 18s singles, notable upsets occurred. Sixth seed Keaton Hance (pictured above) of Torrance, California, emerged victorious against the second seed Cooper Woestendick of Olathe, Kansas (6-0, 5-7, 6-3). Hance, a Texas commit, will be playing Jack Satterfield of Tampa, Florida, in the semifinals. On the other side of the 18s singles bracket, the top seeds remained. Top seed Darwin Blanch of Orlando, Florida, will be making his Kalamazoo semifinal debut against the third seed and last year’s finalist, Jack Kennedy of Huntington, New York.
