It is with great sadness that we pass along the news of Jim Van Zandt's passing on Sunday, May 26, 2019. A memorial service waa held on Saturday, June 1 at Stetson Chapel on the campus of Kalamazoo College.

Jim was an integral part of the Nationals for over 60 years. Among his many jobs, he served as linesman, Umpire, Chair of Ball Runner training, Chair of Concessions, Chair of Feed-in Consolations and Chair of Site Preparation. He received the prestigious Green Jacket award in 1987. Jim also served as the Kalamazoo College Women's Tennis Coach as well as the Kalamazoo Valley Community College Women's Tennis Coach.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Kalamazoo College Men's and Women's Tennis Team or Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools Foundation.
